Rami Djebari - CEO & Co-Founder
Rami is a tech lover who thrives on mixing technology with creativity. After studying computer science and writing his final paper on decentralization in 2017, he dove into the world of AI and machine learning. In 2021, Rami experienced the challenges of global freelancing when he jumped into blockchain development as a freelancer, witnessing firsthand the inefficiencies of the payment system. This sparked his drive to innovate and improve the freelance landscape.
Along the way, he co-founded a Music and Arts Association, blending his love for music, and art. Having lived in Canada, the US, and Saudi Arabia, his experiences shape the creative spirit behind Sorbet’s vision. Whether he’s building a tech solution or enjoying nature, Rami’s all about turning bold ideas into something real.
Maher Ayari - COO & Co-Founder
Maher combines creativity and strategic insight from years of working with early-stage startups at top VCs and incubators such as Techstars. He was an early employee at a fintech startup, leading operations through its acquisition, and played a key role in a successful NFT launch. His self-taught expertise in data consulting strengthens his leadership with a sharp, analytical perspective.
As a digital nomad, Maher has met freelancers worldwide, gaining firsthand insight into the challenges of global work. In 2023, he hosted his first photo exhibition, reflecting his passion for the arts. His global experiences—from Tunisia to Canada and Spain—drive his mission to improve the lives of creatives through technology.
